Regulations

Renters must be 25 years or above at the time of rental due to requirements imposed by our insurance company. However, exceptions can be made for younger customers on longer term leases.

All drivers must carry a locally accepted driving license. Only UAE licenses are allowed for UAE residents (i.e. those that have a residence visa). UAE drivers licenses must be at least 6 months old (exceptions below).

Visitors are encouraged to have an international driving license along with their local drivers license prior to their arrival in the UAE and can rent from us for the whole period during which they are on a visit / tourist visa.

For individual retail customers, we will require scans or photos of the hirer’s:

1. Emirates ID, front and back
2. UAE driver’s license or, as applicable, the home-country drivers license along with an international driver’s permit
3. Passport face and visa page. For those on tourist visas, a scan of the entry-stamp page will suffice.
4. Filled customer profile form
5. Front of the credit card you will put on file.

1. The amount of the vehicle rental fee is determined upon the commencement of the rental and is dependent on the price rate applied.
2. In case of the payment with credit card, Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC shall validate the card before the commencement of the rental in the amount of the expected rental cost plus additional fees which may be applied in its course.
3. The account of the presented credit card shall be charged with total rental cost upon its termination, unless the Rentee presents alternative payment method.

1. Bookings shall be accepted for determined vehicle groups, not specific car models.
2. Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC shall be obligated to guarantee the terms and conditions of the booking for 1 hour after the scheduled time of the rental of vehicle.
3. Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC reserves its right to refuse to rent the booked vehicle for reasons not attributable to Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC.
4. The cancellation of the booking shall be delivered to Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC at least 24 hours before the scheduled rental. In case of the failure to fulfill this requirement, Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC shall charge the Rentee with a part of lost profits.

Different companies use the terms differently, but in the UAE the differences between long term leases (contracts of 6 months or longer) and shorter term rentals (month to month, weekly, daily contracts) lie primarily in the rate paid per month, and the early-termination penalty associated with the contract.

Long term lease customers generally receive much better monthly rates on their cars, and are given preference for new cars. While all our customers receive the best customer service in the industry, long term lease customers are treated especially well since we know they will be with us for a long time.

Early termination penalties usually reflect the deep discount given to long term customers. The termination penalty on long term contracts is usually lower than the total savings gained by the customer during the contract period. For this reason, we always encourage our customers to avail of a long term lease contract if there is any chance that they will hire the car for more than 6 months.

In other countries, car leases typically take the form of finance-leases, in which the customer’s monthly payment is simply the cost of financing the car, with no additional services provided. In the UAE, rental companies are required by-law to provide certain services (such as the maintenance of insurance and registration), meaning that leases are still a full-service offering.

All vehicles picked up/dropped off at Dubai Airports will be charged an airport service surcharge.

1. In case of accident or theft, the Rentee shall immediately notify the Police and Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC.
2. The Rentee shall not have the right to agree to the claims of the other party. The Rentee shall immediately notify Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC of any damages of the vehicle.
3. If the Rentee acted according to the provisions of the rental agreement, Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC shall make every effort to exchange or repair the rented vehicle.
4. A new rental agreement shall be concluded while exchanging the vehicle.
5. Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC shall not bear any liability for the losses or damages of the Rentee, including the loss of profits.
6. Even in case of minor damages, the Rentee shall be obligated to hand over to Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC a written report with a situation drawing.
7. Especially the accident report shall include names and addresses of involved persons and witnesses of the accident, as well as the plate numbers of vehicles involved in the accident.
8. In case of damage or theft of the vehicle, the rental agreement shall be terminated on the day of the notification of Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC or Police on the damage or theft of the rented vehicle by the Rentee.

1. Personal data provided by the Rentee shall be processed for the purpose of execution of the agreement and for marketing purposes related to the promotion of Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC services, and the Rentee shall give its consent to it.
2. The Rentee declares that it has been informed about the right to access and amend personal data provided to Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC.
3. The Rentee also declares that it has been informed that providing personal data is necessary for the conclusion and execution of the rental agreement.

All of our vehicles are installed with a Salik tag. Each crossing at the Salik toll gates will incur a charge of AED 5. Your Salik bill will be issued to you along with your rental invoice.

Regal Assets Rent A Car LLC maintains a file with the RTA and monitors all traffic fines ascribed to its vehicles on a daily basis. These traffic fines are then invoiced to customers with the relevant details. These amounts are due to Regal Assets Rent A Car LLC within two days of the invoice being received by the customer.

1. Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC shall be liable only for the losses or damages incurred by the Rentee and third persons relating to the rented vehicle or its use, if the losses or damages were the result of the fault of Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC. In any other case, Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC shall not bear the liability, and the Rentee shall not make Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC liable for such claims.
2. Regal Assets Rent a Car LLC shall not bear any liability for the theft, damage or loss of value of any objects transported or left in the vehicle.
3. The Rentee shall not bear the liability for the objects left or transported by the Rentee in the vehicle, especially for the objects of collectors’ value transported by the Rentee.
